Meditation Minute: Solid Healthy Boundaries

6/9/2023

This is a short bite sized meditation that is easy to incorporate into your day. This meditation will help you relax and gently support you on your way to healthy boundaries.

MEDITATION TRANSCRIPT

A transcript is provided so you can experience this meditation at your own speed if you like. Some like to use their own meditation music and extend the meditation past 3 mins.
Find a place that is appropriate for you to close your eyes and relax without being disturbed. As you get comfortable, in a seated or lying down position, whichever you prefer, take a few gentle deep relaxing breaths, in through your nose, out through your mouth, taking each nourishing and cleansing breath from deep in your belly.

Notice the sensation of the breath as it gently passes your lips. In through your nose, out through your mouth. Allow whatever you are laying down or sitting down on gently and comfortably support you as you continue to breathe.

When you feel ready, imagine yourself surrounded by beautiful light. It can be any color you desire. If you like you can change the color to any hue you prefer, try a few colors and choose the one that you like the most.

When you have chosen your most desired color or colors you can receive a download “update” of all the information you need to reinforce your unique healthy boundaries.
Envision the colors lovingly surrounding you, changing automatically with ease as they help you calibrate and balance all the qualities and learning you need to successfully navigate growing stronger and stronger healthy boundaries naturally as you learn what works for you.

As you are allowing the balance and calibration to finish completing. You may start to become aware that you are starting to prepare yourself to come back to full awareness, now as you transition to refreshed and fully aware in the present time, start wiggling your fingers and toes and have a stretch if that feels good for you.

Meditation Minute is an ongoing series of short meditations so that you can have an easy to experience  tool at the ready. This is a brain rest and refresh meditation to help you feel relaxed and refresh.

MEDITATION TRANSCRIPT

Here is a transcript so you can read and experience at your own speed, especially if you'd like to slow down the pace of the meditation. Feel free to listen to the guided meditation multiple times if you like.
locate a place that it is appropriate to close your eyes and relax without being disturbed. When you are ready, allow yourself to get comfortable, in a seated or lying down position, whichever you prefer

As you start to relax and get comfortable, imagine yourself in a blank white room. Take notice is your white room round, or square, or even possibly another unique shape?

As you settle in and it feels more and more comfortable to you, imagine you are floating and weightless. Imagine that you have complete command of what position you would like to be in while you are in the room.

As you get acquainted to your weightlessness and flying around the room as you desire, you notice a switch labeled “10 second brain rest, rejuvenate, and refresh switch”

When it feels right to you, navigate to the switch and press it. As you float comfortably for the next 10 seconds you may or may not feel your brain gently and pleasantly refreshing.

Now that your brain has rested and rejuvenated you can start making your way back to the room, wiggling your toes and fingers, opening your eyes,  refreshed and ready to continue your day.

Meditation Minute: Safe Space

12/16/2022

Minute meditations are short meditations that are easy to fit into your day. This is a 3 minute safe space meditation that helps to encourage relaxation.

Meditation transcript

If you prefer to experience this at your own pace here is the transcript. You can continue to listen to this 3min guided mediation as many times as you like to visit your safe space, or pop on your favorite relaxing meditation track and explore your safe place for as long as you wish.
Take a moment to get comfortable, seated or laying down and locate a place that it is appropriate to close your eyes. If you are at work and don’t feel comfortable closing your eyes at a workstation, you might just pop to the bathroom or even your parked car if you need to in a pinch.

Visualize yourself in a place that you feel safe. This can be any place in the real world or in your imagination.

Notice what it looks like, feels like, sounds like, smells like. Take notice about what is above you and below you.

Notice anything you don’t want there? Remember you can edit anything that you would like to change! If you don’t want to change anything just enjoy your safe space.

When all changes are made to your space or you feel complete, wiggle your toes and fingers and open your eyes and come back to the space refreshed.
